RS Sailing is excited to enter a partnership with US Sailing to launch the Siebel Sailors initiative which will supply approximately 120 RS Feva sailboats to 20 programs over the next two years along with other necessary resources to sustain such a program.
This program aligns with RS Sailing’s core mission to get more people involved in our sport. Often this requires moving barriers to make it easier for more to go sailing.
Big thanks to donor Tom Siebel who has taken a giant step to remove a massive barrier to our sport for so many!
“The Siebel Sailors Program will support an important US Sailing objective of providing increased access to sailing for youth, regardless of socio-economic background. US Sailing, through the Siebel Sailors Program, will provide fleets of sailboats, equipment, and expert coaching at community sailing centres initially in five regions across the country. The Program will significantly enhance community sailing centre programming, advanced skill development, and competitive opportunities for young sailors.”
