Accommodation List
Does A Team Need To Qualify To Enter The RS Feva World Championships?
Our Championships are open therefore we have no qualification requirements to enter and compete in the RS Feva World Championships
Are Coach Boats Permitted
Coach boats are most welcome. There will be a coach boat registration process and fee to pay that should be completed online and prior to event entry closing to allow us to plan boat parking and trailer storage.
To make every effort to try and keep our events as environmentally clean as possible we ask that whenever possible, coaches consider sharing coach boats, should you be able to offer a seat on your boat or indeed if a coach or support boat has capacity to offer a space to another team please let us know!
I Cannot Attend Am I Entitled To A Refund?
My Team Names Have Changed Can I Update My Entry?
Sail Number Placement
Useful “How To” from our very own Jon Partridge, just don’t forget you need country letter codes too!
Where is the Sailing Club?
I Am Not Able To Bring My Own Boat, Will I Be Able To Charter?
RS Sailing kindly offer a number of charter boats. Charters must be booked and paid for at point of entry. Charters will be delivered to site, rigged (not sails rigged) ready for hand over. There are always great Charter Boat offers to be had after our RS Feva Worlds events so if you are looking to purchase a new boat this could make for a great opportunity!
Will There Be An Opening Ceremony?
There most certainly will be an Opening Ceremony, Get your team kit, country flags, face paints and whatever else we can find and make sure you are ready to sing, cheer and have a fabulous time helping to make this the biggest, best most memorable RS Feva World Championships opening ceremony ever!
When Will The Prize Giving Be?
A frequently asked question that we simply cannot answer. We endeavour to get the prize giving done as soon as we can after racing however we must ensure we wait for all protest hearings to be done to be sure we get the correct results for our sailors. We will always work as quickly as we can.
Why Is There A Limit On Numbers?
Simply space both on the racecourse and off the water. With Classes seeing growing numbers around the World we are very hopeful that we can reach our maximum of 240 but would hate to turn any sailors away if we do, please be sure to enter early to avoid disappointment.
Magic Marine Sponsor RS Feva World Championships
Magic Marine, a prominent name in marine apparel and accessories, announces its sponsorship of RS Feva World Championships for the second year in a row.
Shape the future!
The RS Feva Class Association has been fortunate to be supported by market-leading companies over the last ten years. Our sponsors have supported our Class because it offers both a cost-effective vehicle for brand and product awareness and because it is a fun way to ‘give back’ – through the development of teamworking and leadership amongst young people across the world.
We have the opportunity for a new Class sponsor, leading our events in the UK, Europe and World.
The RS Feva Class is proud of our ethos of accessibility, inclusion and experience for all, helping support the growth and development of young people from around the world, as sailors, individuals and leaders. The Class continues to drive care for the environment, our seas and our waterways and our events continue to have sustainability at the forefront of our decision-making processes.
The sponsor’s branding will be visible across multiple channels: from the logos on every competing boat, social media (web, Facebook, Instagram), event titles, event clothing, venue branding, correspondence, paperwork and event reports. And we are leaders in our field when it comes to live event coverage, with a dedicated media boat live-streaming video and commentary to a worldwide audience. The sponsor’s brand is immediately recognisable to all our sailors and their supporters, both at our own events and through branded boats participating in many other sailing events throughout the year.
This is your chance! The RS Feva Class welcomes you, or someone you know, to step forward to sponsor our Class. Help us to provide fantastic opportunities for the many young sailors and their families who attend and compete in our events.
