The 13 boats at Rutland enjoyed a big day on Wednesday when the wind was top teens to lw twenties. Hard work and speed were the key ingredients. The rowing machine activity for after the BBQ (which was yum yum tasty!) had to be binned as the day had been a proper work out already. Thu saw the Czech ladies go and visit Burghley House - the grandest Elizabethan House of them all, while the sailors got another good work out even if the wind was down a couple of kts. Two sessions weren't enough so almost all boats also took part in the evening club race while the coaches (Ant & Emily) took an RS800 out for a spin. Friday was a half day of light airs and going home. What a great week and lots of new cross border friendships. Bring on the worlds and sharing the love!
