The RS Feva Training System is explained under the Squads tab.
RS Feva Open Training Programme
The UK RS Feva Class Association is pleased to offer training to all RS Feva sailors. This training can be for Youth & Junior helms and crews or Parent & Child teams.
Details and entry forms for Open Training Weekends are shown below.
Information about Open Training Weekends
Ollie Spensley-Corfield is the Head Coach for these Open Training Weekends (OTW) and will be on-hand to offer expert advice to sailors and clubs looking to develop the RS Feva class. The OTW venues will be different each month and booking will be via the on-line booking system on www.rsfeva.org/training
For details of training venues and dates please subscribe to the RS Feva Training Plancast at www.plancast.com/rsfevatraining (or click on the widget in the sidebar).
The price is £25 per sailor per weekend with club members of the venue being offered a discount. Bookings must be made per boat not by individual sailors and it is the responsibility of the sailors to provide a boat fit for purpose.
A minimum of 6 boats can be booked onto the OTW (the training may be cancelled if this number is not reached) and a maximum of 12 boats will be accepted. A confirmation email will be sent to confirm your place on the OTW. When this maximum number is reached then applicants will be put on a waiting list and notified when a place becomes available. Entries will be only be confirmed when payment in full is received. Cancellations (with full refunds) will be accepted up to two weeks before the OTW. Refunds for cancellations after this time will be dependant on whether the place can be re-filled.
All sailors under 18 years of age will be required to complete a RS Feva Consent Form. Please download and bring to the OTW. Sailors are not required to be members of the UK RS Feva Class Association. An adult in charge of each sailor must remain on site for the duration of the OTW. Parents will be asked to help with launching and recovery of boats and possibly assist with manning the safety boats. Please bring appropriate clothing to help on the water or shoreside. Any sailor deemed to be wearing inappropriate clothing for the conditions may be asked to remain on shore.
