World Championship entry fees about to go up – enter now

The entry fees for the RS Feva World Championships go up in June so you need to enter by the end of the month. Excitement is building at Hayling Island.  There has been perfect weather for the last two weekends.  Long may it continue!

Good luck to all competitors!

In Italy for the 2º National Bowl – Lago Di Garda and in Denmark for the TORM Junior GP at Kerteminde Sejlklub. Have fun guys!

Think your RS Feva’s too much for your 11 year old?

Well have a look at this. 11yr old heaven. Perhaps not available for every 11 year old mind you!

Support the RNLI – you may need them one day!

Oakham and Stamford Schools are doing a nautical fundraiser for the RNLI together with the Rutland Sailing Club Youth & Juniors. You can donate here http://www.justgiving.com/RutlandDuckRescue . It may not be obvious as to why they are rescuing plastic ducks from Rutland Water but they are. If you wonder who the RNLI are – they are the volunteers who rescue sailors in distress in all weathers without receiving any financial support from the government – everything comes from the likes of us!

UK announce team will compete at Irish Nationals in August

The Irish RS Feva Nationals are at Howth YC on 17-19 August. The UK has just announced it’s selection criteria to send a 3 boat team. It’s all on! There is nothing to prevent other GBR from going of course – it’s just that the 3 boat team will have Team GBR support in coaching etc. Howth is one of the great Irish sailing places and is renowned for it’s hospitality as much as it’s sailing waters. All entries welcome!! PS – being Ireland there are great golf courses just nearby and Dublin is only just around the corner. Club [...]

See yesterdays post for the full results from Asker and here for todays finals from the UK. Next weekend it is all eyes on ITA for the 2nd National Bowl at Lago DI Garda and [...]
