This weekend it was really windy!! South east and west squad came together for a fun weekend of training at Rutland, due to the weather there were multiple capsizes but it all just added to the fun of it all! There were several training exercises that helped to improve our starting techniques, hoists and drops and windy weather boat handling. The icing on the cake was the small race series at the end of the weekend that drew together all of the learning and combined it in a small but competitive sequence of short races. The weather finally brightened up at the end of the Sunday with a beautiful rainbow that spread over the lake from one end to the other.
