Sorry folks - it seems I was spouting old info at you. More recent estimates of costs for the 33rd AC are now in excess of $200 million per boat!  Now let's see - for 2 x 2hr races (assuming one boat wins first two races) that = $1.25 million dollars per minute racing. I reckon that makes our Fevas pretty good value for money! Now I know that I could have one heck of a lot of fun with $1.25m/minute - so what would that be spent on? takes Lotto speculation to a whole new level!
